ICANN Introduces New Generic Top-Level Domains (gTLDs)

Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has introduced a new top-level domain called Generic Top-Level Domains (gTLDs). It introduced on internet root zone, the central database for the internet's Domain Name System. According to ICANN paving the way for possibly 1,400 new domain names from the current 22. The genetic top-level domains (gTLD) are four newly delegated and those are Arabic, Chinese, Rush and Cyrillic.


Most probably those gTLDs name will be introduced this week by the organization. Before Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) invited application from different companies for registering gTLD last year. A lot of application hs been submitted for gTLDs to ICANN. Most fevarite search engine company GOOGle has submitted for 101 name.

Now on internet Top-Level Domains (TLDs) are now .com, .net, .org and .info. ICANN wants to add more top-level domain neme and thats why gTLDs has introduced.
